I cant even believe these babies are 1/4 of the way through their first year of life!! What that really registers for me ... is I have 9 months to plan their first birthday party ... I better get on it :-). Kidding! Actually what is means is that as much as the days push by I need t make sure I stop and enjoy the little moments. We find that overall we dont hold the babies nearly as much as we should. 1. becuase when Caroline is around she is taking up the efforts of our limbs 2. they generally sleep and play better on their own, less fussy when they arent being held 3. when you have to decide who to pick up, you feel bad, you so end up picking up no one. Well, I am going to do my best to hold them more and just try to rotate who I hold. It may mean holding them with a moby so that I have free hands for Caroline, laundry, dishes, cleaning, vaccuming, sorting clothes, ect ...
Ok, I need to feed babies ... but I want to try and be better about posting more often, even if its quick points of thought. Time passes so fast that I dont even realize its been a month since I last posted, unless I am reminded (Jane :-) haha). Due to Facebook, I forget their is a better place to put more thought out pieces from my brain. And I will do better about uploading pics here too!
I remember feeling the same way about not holding them enough. I made a point to always hold each of them for at least 5 minutes each in the morning and 10 minutes each in the evening. It still wasn't "enough" but it always made me feel better!
