Can you even believe that 2012 is less than 2 weeks away!! Where on earth did 2011 go?? I swear I blinked and BAM life is a completely different world! We were in Disney a year ago for my 30th birthday on December 2nd, and life was perfect. We had an amazingly smart and wonderful 1.5 year old, our careerers were on an upward spin with 2 new promotions, we had some close friends planning weddings we were looking forward to traveling to (Mexico and Arizona), and we were on the otherside of some health scares (Scotts heart condition and my kidney stones) ... life couldnt be better. Then before we knew it the most unexpected of events ... t.r.i.p.l.e.t.s. Never in a million years would I have ever dreamed the life we are living would be where we are today. Sure, twins ... I thought about it a lot, and wondered if that was going to be a part of our life or if it was if we could ever handle it. But, if anyone had ever said in 2011 we would give birth to three healthy little babies, and they would become the test of everything we have ever known ... I would have never ever believed them! and to bit, if they had said only one magical year later we would be right back in Disneyworld for my 31st with 3 more children, I would have said "get your crazy head checked"!! But ... as we know, life is ALL about expecting one thing ... the unexpected, the unbelievable, the impossible ... and then making the best of it. So, during this magical week of Christmas, a wonderful time of year that we spend with friends and family, I challenge you to reflect on the year past and the year to come ... and think about all we never knew that was going to happen and what will be as we venture into 2012 ... and feel as completely thankful for how life seems to "work itself out". I wish everyone the beauty of the season and the love that all the most important people in our lives bring to each and everyone of us!! Esp YOU and what you have given me and my family ... we have never felt so humbled by the love and support that was given to us during 2011! THANK YOU and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
