Here is a picture of me at 20 weeks, a mile stone I felt like I would never see, but came very fast!! We have a long way to go still ... hopefully. The biggest mile stone is 24 weeks, so that these babies will be considered viable. The next is 28 weeks when the babies will be tiny, but have a good shot at life. 32 weeks is considered full term for triplets, and a big goal line for me ... July 1. Anything past that, ( the docs wil only let me go to 35 weeks) is a miracle. Im officially on 80% modified bed rest, which is precautionary to give these kiddos the best shot at the longest whomb time. I am basically going from my bed, to the shower, to the couch, to the potty, back to the cough, to the potty, back to the couch and eventually to bed by 8-9ish. All in between I am being taken care of and fed by and incredible team of care givers!! My mom comes over Mondays and Wednesday to care for me and Caroline. Scott has been working from home Tues, Thurs, and Fridays. I am still doing my best to remain a full time employee remotely. I can tell my physically capacity is surely slowing down and I get tired very easily, just from a shower or sitting in a regular chair for more than 20 mins. It is all for the amazing cause, of our three babes!!
I want to thank everyone who has been calling and offering their support. It is absolutely overwhelming and inredible the kind of care and concern we are receiving. I spend nights tossing and turning wondering how I will ever be able to let people know how truly thankful we are!!
Soooooo glad you started a blog....I think you will be glad you did when you are able to look back at the chronicle of this journey!!! And, selfishly, I'm glad, because I get to follow along!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm praying for you, and glad to hear you are doing well and have a GREAT attitude! :)
