So today's post is a shout out to every person who is known as a "Captain Obvious" and/or someone who is a nosey busy body. For those of you reading this that don't want to hear me rant about stupid people .. I suggest you stop reading right now :-).
Ok, as a mom of a multiples, identical girls, 4 little kids under two, and a triplets ... I have to tell anyone who will listen ... if you see someone in public that you *think* might be a mom of any of the above I mentioned ... DONT ASK the obvious questions :-) ; a. because they have heard it 100 times before, b. because chances are you might be the person they snap at after a crappy night of sleep when caring for them, c. it isn't really anyones business and if you wouldn't have talked to you with one kid, 3 more gives you no more right, d. whether or not they are infertility doesn't matter and is a very personal question to most, e. if they have 4 kids they ARE busy trying to keep an eye on all of them, f. they would most likely enjoy being in public without feeling like a circus act, g. its rude to stare and then decide in a moment of "passing" you can ask anything you want ... OK OK I will get off the soap box and stop the rant. But, in all seriousness ... I must share my weeks emotions. I had the opportunity to get out of the house three times this week - Woot Woot for me and my sanity!! Trip 1: was to Nini Bambini Moms group and visit Scott at work for lunch (with help from my MOM!) Trip 2: was with my nieces to Walmart for some shopping and a little picture photo shoot (with MOM of course) and Trip 3: was to Kids Kove and Mr Gs pizza for lunch (with Scott and the Lubas). All of these ventures out of the house were amazing ... its incredible how amazing it is to see the sunshine, breath fresh air, and drive a car with the radio on! Of course all this out and about didn't come without the pains of healing ... but well worth it in my book to be able to feel human again! Anyhow, the reason I share all of this, is because at every single outing just about 50% of the people we came across felt the need to say something or point of the OBVIOUS ... such as ... YES, they are all mine,YES, they are triplets, YES, they are identical, YES, she is mine too and she is only two years old, NO, I don't get must sleep, YES, I have my hands full and need a lot of help, YES, we were more than shocked to find out it was three, NO, we didn't plan on it ... AND DONT EVEN ASK if it is infertility because it aint your bees wax!! Ahhh, ok, after all that - I feel MUCH better :-) Now ... I am going to feed some stirring babies, and I will be back on later to share some pictures from our fun adventures of the week! Love to all and thanks for listening and letting me stand on my soap box. kissssesssssssssss!
