So, I have about 20 mins of down time right now, and as with all the the VERY minimal down time I get, I ask myself how I want to spend it. I could write on this blog, start or finish folding laundry, load and start the dishwasher, put together the next round of bottles, clean up Carolines toys, snuggle with a baby, close my eyes, clean up the crazy messy tubs and toilets, write some of the 150 thank you cards for baby gifts, start looking for announcement cards, call a friend I havent talked to in months, write an email, make something to eat, play on facebook, read a magazine, paint my toes or fingers, google topics I think about all day, play on pinterest.com, sit outside to see the sunshine and breath fresh air, watch cheesey reality tv of DVRd Bachelor Pad or Big Brother, watch a girly movie, clean out the fridge/freezer, clean up the left overs from Carolines birthday (or prior to today plan Carolines bday), shop online for Halloween costumes or ideas to make, list plans for meals over the next week or two, organize the basement toys, go through the kids clothes, put away outfits Carolines grown out of, write my husband a letter to tell him how much I appreciate him, look for daycare/nannie options, text with friends to catch up, drink a glass of red wine, drink a beer, order gifts or all the many people who birthdays and special celebrations keep passing me by, plan the babies Dedication and celebration, ... the list goes on and on ... but what I am trying to say is that there is next to no time to myself ever anymore and when it does happen I spend so much time thinking about the best way to spend it, I blink and it is over. Needless to say, finding time to update this blog is farther and farther apart. Well, babies are stirring to eat and I havent had lunch yet, so off to the duties I go!
Ohh, and if people reading this blog have questions or topics they are intetrested to hear about or want me to blog about, shoot me an email (katie.evancic@gmail.com). Part of the problem of not blogging more often, is trying to decide what is "blog worthy" and what people would really want to read and know about. I also fear that this 'public' blog will become a location for the output of my daily emotions .. and the last thing I want it for this to be a place for me to show the peaks and valleys of post partem hormones :-) and read like a 30 year old diary.
And, once I upload the pictures from Carolines 2nd Minnie Mouse birthday party, I will be sure to share!
